Interiors

God is in the details.

discovery

This is where we begin to uncover the essence of what makes you unique. A quiet unfolding, where each choice—whether a texture, color, or object—tells us a bit about who you are and where we'll find inspiration.

We believe that knowing oneself is a timeless quality, and interior design becomes the canvas for this expression. Together, we immerse ourselves and begin to craft the most powerful spaces - the ones that reflect who you are and become your sanctuary.

Plus, it's just fun.

aesthetic direction

Finding our material palette is a sensory journey, where the textures we choose become, quite literally, the fabric of our lives. Like the flavors in our favorite dish, each ingredient evokes emotion—whether it’s the warmth of oak beneath your feet, the smooth coolness of limestone, or the gentle embrace of shearling. They shape our spaces and our moods, inspiring joy, comfort, or calm.

Our work is to surround ourselves with materials that reflect our innermost selves, This is not just about aesthetics, but about crafting an environment that feels right in the hand and in the heart, bringing beauty and meaning to every corner of our lives.

key features

Identifying key features within spaces is akin to weaving a narrative that captivates the senses. By carefully selecting focal points—whether it's a sweeping staircase, a sunlit alcove, or an elegant archway— we guide the eye on a deliberate journey.

This dance of form, texture and light creates a rhythm that pulls you through each space, revealing the larger vision. Every element is thoughtfully placed to build a cohesive experience, where the interplay of textures, shadows, and lines fosters a sense of harmony. This orchestration of details transforms an interior into a poetic expression.

furniture & fixtures

Selecting the right furniture and fixtures for a space is a deeply personal (and fun!) process of discovery. Whether custom-crafted by one of our artisans, collected while traveling, or brought from spaces you’ve cherished in the past, these objects carry meaning beyond their function. They tell stories, evoke memories, and shape the energy of a room.

Our process is to find what resonates and what makes you smile. Not every item needs to be precious - some of us have young children or pets, after all - but our selections should be intentional, even if the intent is to never worry about a spill. Every chair, table and light fixture adds to the narrative and is a clue as to how a space should function and feel. As we curate these pieces, we’re not just furnishing a home; we’re surrounding ourselves with things that spark joy.

visualization

Visualization, for us, is a crucial tool in crafting bespoke interiors, offering our clients a unique glimpse into the final vision with remarkable precision. Our in-house team of visual specialists explore textures, colors, lighting, and spatial relationships in ways that were once unimaginable. This level of fidelity in design exploration not only ensures alignment with our collective vision but also helps avoid costly mistakes. The ability to "see" a room in its finished state before committing ensures alignment and the refinements that enhance the NAINOA experience.

documentation

Documentation and detailed drawings are vital in the successful execution of our interiors ensuring that our design intent is accurately translated from concept to reality. These drawings serve as a precise roadmap, allowing every aspect of the design to be clearly communicated to all parties. Beyond the initial design documents, we emphasize the importance of detailed shop drawings created by the craftsmen themselves. These drawings are not mere technicalities; they represent the craftsman’s unique understanding of the fabrication process.

By insisting on shop drawings, we invite the maker to engage deeply with the design, ensuring that every joinery detail, material specification, and finish is fully realized before production begins. Our collaborative approach leads to higher-quality results, minimizing miscommunication and errors. It fosters a shared understanding of our design’s complexity and nuance, ultimately leading to spaces where every element feels intentional and beautifully crafted.
