SPRINGS

We approached the design of the SPRINGS landscape with a certain degree of restraint. Drawing heavily from the quiet elegance of contemporary Japanese gardens, we worked to create a spa-like atmosphere. A pared down palette of sculptural trees and specimen grasses takes center stage, giving each space a refined sobriety while adding structure and movement.

We arranged the overall site into distinct outdoor "rooms," each with its own specific purpose. From dining areas to intimate reading nooks, the spaces extend the living areas beyond the architectural walls, encouraging our clients to engage fully with the extent of their landscape. The result - a combination of clean lines, natural textures, and carefully curated plant life creates a seamless transition between the interiors and surrounding environment.
